Aha, I just came back from Paris this holiday weekend and literally did... nothing.  Bleh, just kidding.  There wasn't that much to do considering the "City of Lights" isn't much for partying.  But oh well, what can you do.  I didn't meet the cutie because she had some kind of "face infection" as she called it and was bedridden for the weekend.  Personally, I'm not down for "face infections" myself so I had no problems not seeing her.  But my buddies and I did meet interesting people down in Paris and took a trip to the almight Louvre and saw some... interesting art.  Granted a lot of these pictures depict some serious scenes of various times in history, we couldn't help finding humor in what we found.

Well, it sure has been awhile...                    (chirp, chirp)

Anyways, how have all of y'all been?  As for me, I'm sick right now, but I sure have been doing a crap load since I last blogged (which seems to be next to never nowadays).  I've been traveling around Germany doing some fine Army things like taking classes about STD's (yea) and teaching at the same time.  2003 has been a very interesting year.

Speaking of 2003, I spent Christmas in Switzerland!!! 

Now, before you guys get pissed at me, ask yourself this question... "If I lived in Europe, wouldn't I travel somewhere this holiday season?"  You'd say, "Hell Yeah," wouldn't you... eh?

Considering i've been doing a crap load of stuff for work, this was a well deserved vacation.  I got to snowboard on the Swiss Alps for four days, run around Interlaken (which is the city I stayed in) usually drunk, and freeze my ass off at the same time!  Now how cool is that?  Very cool, seriously... I'm not kidding. :P

To top it off, I met a little cutie while I was down there who is studying in Paris this year.  She's from Colorado and she has this thing where she has to talk an octave higher at each of her sentences (think 'valley girl' to the extreme) but I don't mind, she's cute and gives me a reason to visit Paris again, heh.  I was going to go to Paris for New Year's, but I got horribly sick and couldn't take the trip because I coughed out a lung, well, close enough.

I'll be heading off to Paris on good ol MLK weekend in a couple weeks so I'll be sure to grab some pics then, but until then, to make up for the lack of blogs I've been putting out, I'm going to barrage you with these pics of myself having some uber-fun in Switzerland!!!

What's your definition of chillin'?

Last weekend, my buddy said he wanted to hang out and "chill."  I asked him what exactly he wanted to do.  He replied with, "Let's go to the club and chill!"

I'm thinking to myself, "How the hell do you chill at a club?"

I mean, c'mon.  All the music, the dancing, the ladies... I could not "chill" at a club according to my definition of the word.  I think chillin' for me is sitting down, talking with the homies about stupid stuff, sippin on some hen' (sometimes, but not hennesey), and maybe playing a game or two of pool.  Or even chilling can be sitting at home watching a movie while you attempt to eat last week's frozen pizza.  Basically, when I chill, I relax.  There is no relaxing at a club (hip-hop, trance, techno, whatever.. not jazz though).

So I said, "Hey, I can't 'chill' there."  So my buddies and I ended up watching Dreamcatcher and making fun of the rectal snakes.  Now that's chilling!

Ahh yes, the joy of driving.

As y'all know, I just got my car back a couple weeks ago and let me tell you what... I think I caught the modding bug.  So far I've already messed with my hood so that it cools my engine more, insulated my intercooler, acquired a newer turbo, and have a bunch of parts like a turbo timer, blow off valve (for that racer-boy whoosh sound, weeeee), and a 4 point harness (only because I can't move my stock seat belt anymore... booo) on order.  I'm planning on putting my turbo on this Thursday, YAY!

It just feels good driving my old car again, almost like coming back from a whack vacation where your parents or girlfriend wouldn't shut up while trying to have a good time, then jumping in your bed and nestling yourself in the feather-like caress of your bed.  Is that a good analogy?  I don't care.  I'm driving my baby again.

I just wanted to point that out.  Hopefully I won't turn into a ricer... HAHAHA, yeah right.
